The Specna Arms "Retro" line is the result of a collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas designed for enthusiasts of iconic models from past decades. The models in this range faithfully reproduce the appearance of the original firearm, making them perfect for historical reenactments and an excellent choice for fans of historical weapon replicas.
First, a point of clarification: the MP40 is not a "Schmeisser" (even though markings on the magazine of the real-steel historical version could be misleading).
The Specna Arms replica is aimed at enthusiasts of historical military gear as well as those interested in World War II history.
Specna Arms presents a World War II icon. The MP40 is one of the most recognizable submachine guns, widely used by German forces during the Second World War. Its legendary silhouette—often depicted in movies and video games—makes the MP40 one of the most recognizable weapons in the world.
This model is constructed primarily from metal and plastic.
Metal components include the receiver, barrel, sights, magazine housing, and cylinder head cover.
Polymer components include parts of the body and the stock furniture.
The gun features its legendary folding stock, which can be easily collapsed to reduce the replica to its minimum size. Notably, the RETRO version offers both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes. Depending on whether the charging handle is in the forward or rear position, the replica will fire in semi-auto or burst mode.
Inside the replica, there is an X-ASR MOSFET.
This high-quality X-ASR MOSFET protects the replica's components, improves trigger response and the lifespan of the electronics and battery, and allows for basic troubleshooting via integrated diagnostic LEDs.
