Short historical presentation of the Benelli M3

The Benelli M3 is a dual mode (pump action and semi-automatic) rifle designed and manufactured by the firearms manufacturer Benelli Armi SpA and released in 1995. The M3 has a maximum of seven rounds and uses Benelli's exclusive semi-automatic system, first introduced with the M1. The Benelli M3 is distinguished above all by the possibility for the shooter to choose between a semi-automatic or a pump-action system. This rifle is reliable, versatile and popular with police and military forces, as well as civilians.

The M3 is actually an updated version of the Benelli M1 shotgun. It uses the same semi-automatic recoil system as the Benelli M1, but adds another Benelli-patented feature that allows the shooter to lock out the semi-automatic action and switch to a pump-action manual mode and vice versa.

Benelli M3 Features

Redesigned from the Tokyo Marui M3 rifle, Cyma M3 airsoft replicas are designed to perfectly match a performance-oriented American market. Cyma decided to make its own version of this airsoft shotgun, with a more rugged, reliable, powerful and accurate design. The Cyma M3 retains the structure of the Tokyo Marui M3, but incorporates stronger and more durable components. In addition, Cyma puts its stamp on this Benelli M3 replica with a more refined look.

Metal parts are more abundant throughout the front of the gun, including the barrel, lower shell storage tube, sighting elements. Other metal parts include the cocking lever, trigger and safety catch. We will also notice that the Cyma M3 replicas are not very heavy, but remain very well balanced. The center of gravity is very well positioned around the cocking lever, in the center of the barrel.

What are the different variants available on Phenix Airsoft?

On Phenix Airsoft, the Cyma M3 airsoft replicas come in two variants: the Cyma M3 Short Metal Burst and the Cyma M3 Long Metal Burst. These two variants have almost the same characteristics except for the weight and length. Indeed, if the Cyma M3 Short Metal Burst is 640 mm long for a weight of 2.2 kg, the Cyma M3 Long Metal Burst is much longer (1040 mm) and heavier (2.7 kg). Apart from these two distinguishing details, both airsoft replicas have a magazine with a capacity of 30 balls, a fixed Hop Up, a power of 0.9 joule and a velocity of 300 FPS. These two Cyma M3 variants are both finished in metal and nylon.
