Type 97 sniper rifle of the Japanese army.
The Arisaka Type 97 sniper rifle was the most widely used sniper weapon by the Imperial Japanese forces during the Second World War.
Essentially, it is a modified Arisaka Type 38. Although inferior to its American counterpart, the Springfield M1903, and despite its low calibre of 6.5 mm, it was popular with Japanese troops.
S & T has faithfully recreated one of the fighting rifles of the Second World War. Constructed from high-quality aluminium alloy and wood, this replica features Imperial Chrysanthemum branding on the case. Spring powered, the Type 97 requires no batteries or gas / Co2 and is a reliable partner for your parties or re-enactments
