AGM produces a replica very close to reality. Introduced in 1942, the "Machinengewehr 42" machine gun better known as the MG42.

It can be determined at first glance that it is not a toy but a solid piece of metal. The dimensions and details are as close to the original as possible, and thanks to its all-metal structure, the weight is also fair - it weighs almost 7 kg. The only polymer parts are the pistol grip (as in the original).

The basic components of the replica - frame, outer barrel, breech - are made from a homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminum. The bipod, magazine, charging handle, drum cover and other small parts, such as the sight base and the barrel change lever, are made of steel. The set is painted in matte black, which gives a very realistic impression.

The butt of the replica, just like in the original, is made of painted natural wood. Inside the butt there is room for the battery. The hop-up adjustment lever is located under the receiver cover. The solid steel bipod can be folded and fixed under the outer barrel. The original MG42 could be used as an anti-aircraft gun, so the replica is equipped with a set of AA-type sights.

To power Hitler's chainsaw 'The Hitler's Saw', a specially designed and reinforced two-piece gearbox was installed. Inside there are steel gears, chrome cylinder, bearing driven piston head and 8mm ball bearings. In addition, it has an effective and long 600mm inner barrel.

The MG42 machine gun is powered by an electric ammobox / drum type magazine, which is a carbon copy of the original. Its hull is entirely made of steel. The loader can store 2,500 balls and is powered by 4 AA type batteries (not included).
