The PK ( Russian: Пулемёт Калашникова , transliterated as Pulemyot Kalashnikova , or ‘Kalashnikov machine gun’) is a versatile belt-fed machine gun , chambered for the 7.62 × 54 mm R flanged cartridge.
The long-awaited replica of the PK universal machine gun made by A&K was produced in steel, aluminium and cast aluminium. The breech chamber, bipod, carry handle and magazine are made from steel, while the rest of the components, such as the outer barrel, front sight base, barrel assembly and iron sights, are made from a homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminium.
The replica is equipped with a MOSFET system and also features a potentiometer that regulates the replica's rate of fire.
