The M60E4 or Mk 43 is a versatile 7.62 x 51 mm NATO machine gun. An evolution of the M60 series of machine guns, it features several improvements over the originals. The M60E4/Mk 43 series includes Mod 0 and Mod 1 configurations.

It is the main light machine gun used in some NATO countries and other countries approved for export by the US government. The Mk 43 is currently manufactured solely by US Ordnance (USORD). USORD has been producing it since 2000.

Designed with extreme attention to detail, this replica Airsoft machine gun features all-metal construction, accurately reproducing the strength and reliability of real weapons used by elite forces. Weighing in at over 7 kg, its heavyweight design ensures both durability and longevity. However, it is advisable not to carry it solely by the carrying handle to avoid possible damage.

The entire replica has been designed with scrupulous attention to detail, ensuring a faithful and realistic representation, while emphasising accuracy and durability. The majority of the MK43 is made from high-quality metal, which gives it considerable weight, reinforcing its authenticity. Key components such as the adjustable bipod, carry handle, rear sight, magazine holder, strap attachment and folding shoulder rest are made from heavy-duty steel. Like its predecessor, the M60, it also features a front-mounted rate-of-fire adjuster.

For ergonomic reasons, solid polymer has been used in a number of specific areas, including the front grip of the handguard, the pistol grip and the stock. This judicious use of polymer improves comfort without sacrificing the weapon's overall robustness.

To accentuate its realistic design, various components, including the front sight, outer barrel, gas consumption tube, body and breech cover, are made from a robust metal alloy. As a true-to-the-original machine gun, it is equipped with a folding bipod and comes with a box-type electric magazine offering two feed modes (audible and continuous control). This careful construction ensures that the A&K MK43 combines authenticity and functionality for a realistic shooting experience.
