The CXP-16 L model is the longest version of the CXP range.
Revolutionary when it was released, ICS created the "Split" gearbox ahead of the benchmark in terms of ease of uprgade. Gone are the hours of dismantling and reassembling the gearbox with the fear of the badly wedged gear making it necessary to start from scratch.
Simply open the body by removing the pin above the trigger, and tilt the body forward to remove the upper part of the gearbox including the air compression elements. Originally the gearbox is equipped with an M120 spring developing a final power of approximately 390/400 fps from origin.
The replica is supplied with the metal QD silencer. It comes directly on the flash hider then clips onto the latter at the level of the first collar.
Another small detail, which is important, the hop up block is in one piece, this avoids on the one hand the defects of molding and gluing of the parts and also air leaks.
With its new models ICS takes the opportunity to modernize its chargers. Even if the replica remains compatible with most existing M4 airsoft magazines, these are covered with rubber and are ergonomic for a better grip. A small window has emerged on the side of the magazine, even if it is a Hicap model of 300 balls, this allows you to quickly see the level of balls remaining in the magazine up to half of the latter.
Very practical, the strap attachment at the base of the stock to attach your 1-point strap, the aesthetics of the attachment may vary from one model to another of the M4 CXP replica. Little trick, use a key ring to give your strap a little more freedom and therefore more maneuverability.
