Specna Arms meets its customers' expectations by providing the market with a wide range of high-performance LiPo batteries to meet the needs of every user – whether you're looking for a battery for your rifle case, bed, or dummy laser sight – all this and much more can now be found in the range, allowing you to play even longer.
Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) batteries. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly their capacity-to-size ratio. They are very small while maintaining a very high current capacity, making it possible to choose a battery suitable for virtually any AEG replica. They have no memory effect. They can be recharged very frequently without being discharged beforehand. Frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.
It is important to remember not to discharge a LiPo pack below 3V per cell and not to overcharge it above 4.2V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo batteries is their low self-discharge rate. When not in use, the pack loses approximately 3 to 5% of its energy per month. It is necessary to monitor the pack, because during very long storage, discharge below the minimum permissible value (3V per cell) and irreversible chemical reactions can occur, which can lead to deterioration of the pack's properties, including permanent damage, and in extreme cases, ignition. An unused LiPo pack should have an average charge of approximately 70%.
When used correctly, LiPo batteries have an average lifespan of 500 to 700 cycles. An important factor is the operating temperature range of LiPo batteries. Unlike other batteries, LiPo batteries function well at low temperatures, but they must be charged at room temperature. To maintain LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging using a service connector, which most LiPo packs are equipped with (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
After use, disconnect the battery from the replica.
