The AEG Well WE23-S Rotary Minigun is a unique model from Well, part of its "PRO" line of top-of-the-range AEGs. The Minigun is constructed primarily from high density polymer to keep the weight down, with 5 aluminium outer barrels reinforced with an aluminium ring at the end. The Minigun is powered by high-capacity 1200 round spring-loaders that are wound by the internal motor of the Minigun itself, meaning you can spray and not worry about winding the magazine every 3 seconds!
Largely inspired by the M134 "Minigun", which is a multi-barrelled weapon using the Gatling style of barrel rotation. Chambered in 7.62 × 51 mm NATO calibre, it has a very high rate of fire of up to 100 rounds per second, a rate of fire that was recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2002.
On the inside, Well has equipped this Minigun with 5 internal cannons, all of which are 6.03 mm cannons, slightly increasing the hit rate and improving accuracy. The 5 HOP-up units are all independently adjustable, using a TDC design with grub screws to apply the adjustments. The bearings are 8mm, ensuring smooth operation and low friction. The Minigun is also compatible with standard AEG Hop-up joints and inner barrels, just in case its performance isn't enough for you!
