The AK74U assault rifle was the world's first success for a weapon in this category. Easy to use and reliable, it has been used in numerous conflicts since its creation, as well as in popular culture such as video games and films. All this makes the AK74U replica ideal for all types of player, whether beginner or experienced.

The imitation wood airsoft replica is made of metal and ABS, with the most important parts made of metal to protect them, such as the barrel, the cocking lever and the rear strap attachment point. ABS is used for everything else, mainly the body of the replica, the grip, the stock and the magazine.

The magazine release button is located on the underside of the replica, making it ideal for both right- and left-handed users. The magazine itself is high-capacity, with a capacity of 300 rounds.

This replica has official Kalashnikov markings with its serial number painted in white on the left-hand side of the breech.

The Kalashnikov AK74U replica is presented in its spring version (shot by shot, you have to manually reload after each shot), ideal for beginners who want to move towards authentic replicas. This is an ideal mode of propulsion for beginners, as this type of replica requires little maintenance and is easy to use.

The safety on the replica is manual, located on the firing selector, which locks the trigger to prevent inadvertent firing.

The AK74U replica has two ABS sights: the front sight and the rear sight, making acquisition and aiming quicker. The hold-up is adjustable for greater accuracy.

The AK74U cannot be accessorised, as it has no mounting rail. However, it does have 2 fixing points on the left-hand side for easier transport, and the option of adapting a 2-point strap.

Cybergun is an airsoft brand founded by Jérôme Marsac and Vincent Bouvet. Before embarking on this activity in 1993, they developed models on the French market. The AIR SOFT GUNS® are replicas of dummy pistols that shoot 6 mm plastic balls. These harmless products are intended for a major audience and faithfully reproduce real firearms. The two contractors have licensed major defence brands such as Smith & Wesson®, COLT®, SIG SAUER®, DESERT EAGLE™, and many more, making them a world leader with a portfolio of over 20 exclusive licenses.

In 1999, Cybergun goes public and is renowned for the occasion. The brand is very present in the American market, which represents 24.1% of its turnover in 2002. It also conquered new markets in Eastern Europe, signed licensing agreements with Japan and invested heavily in research and development through two revolutionary patents filed in 2003: BAX and CYCLONE.

2004 marked the expansion of the American market with the opening of SOFTAIR DEPOT® stores and the acquisition of the SOFTAIR USA wholesaler. In 2007, Cybergun continued its growth with the acquisition of PALCO Marketing and in 2008, despite the global crisis, the group maintained its steady growth.

In 2010, Cybergun signed a partnership agreement with JT SPORTS, a company recognized in the paint-ball market. It also acquires INOKATSU, a Taiwanese manufacturer specializing in high-end airsoft products. The brand continued its growth with the creation of the Military and Force Training Division, Spartan Military and Law Enforcement (M&LE), which is dedicated to the sale of replica weapons for the various armed forces in France and abroad.
