Our "RGD-5 PYROSOFT Grenade" is similar to the URG-N: a training grenade designed to safely simulate the use of "real" RGD-5s. It produces a moderate sound and a cloud of white talc when used correctly. Its body and lever are the same color as the real RGD-5s, for greater realism. Black markings on the body also indicate that it is a training grenade.
Similar to the TAGInn Tag 19 airsoft grenade, with a lower and safer explosion.
Our versatile training grenades are perfectly suited for airsoft and paintball activities, as well as for law enforcement training simulations. Their carefully designed design ensures a safe and realistic experience, providing an ideal solution for a variety of applications, from recreational to professional training.

A bit of history: The RGD-5 (Ruchnaya Granata Distantsionnaya, meaning "Remote Hand Grenade" or "Delay Hand Grenade") is a Soviet anti-personnel fragmentation grenade designed in the 1950s. The RGD-5 entered active service in 1954 and is still in service with many of Russia's former client states. It was supplied to Iraq and other Arab nations.
This grenade is still manufactured in Russia, with copies being manufactured in Bulgaria, China (under the name Type 59), and Georgia. Several million RGD-5s and their copies were manufactured over the years, and while not as advanced as more modern grenades specifically designed to penetrate CRISAT body armor, the RGD-5 is still an effective and inexpensive weapon. An RGD-5 grenade costs about $5, making it very affordable during a major conflict when many grenades are needed.
