Le filtre se compose de deux parties, une première comportant le système en nid d'abeille. Ce principe a pour but de supprimer toutes réflexions de la vitre avant sans être gênant pour l'utilisateur de la visée.
La seconde partie en caoutchouc se positionne entre la coque métal et le cadre de la vitre du Holosight. Il est conseillé de démonter le cache métal pour placer correctement le filtre et de ne pas trop serrer la coque métal lors du remontage pour éviter une trop grosse pressions sur le verre de l'optique.
Le filtre peut s'installer sur les version 551/552/553 de la visée EOTech Holosight, ainsi que sur les reproductions en Airsoft, Paintball et Tir de loisir utilisant des petits calibre (22Lr, 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm plomb et grenailles, Gomm).
