ICS has always been used to replicas of incomparable GIS. This is still the case here with the "Long Barrel" version of this Sig 551.

Internal side: there is a Turbo 3000 medium axis engine, a 370mm gun. The gearbox is metal incorporating metal bushing too, the spring is a M120 for a power of 380-420 fps mounted on a silent piston head.

The long version incorporates a fixation for bipod as found on the L96 and similar. The detachable sighting devices will allow the installation of a telescope or a red dot without being disturbed. The nylon fiber handguard is equipped with an tactical picatinny 20mm rail on which you can install all kinds of accessories, lamps, lasers, tactical grips, PEQ boxes etc ...

History:

The SIG-551 is the rifle version of the SIG-550. Like him, he is regulated in the Swiss army.

It has the same characteristics, but its length has been reduced. This makes it a more compact weapon, but also decreases its firing range because of its smaller gun (and which is otherwise unsuitable for the 5.56 x 45 mm ammunition, designed for long guns).
