Ballistic resistance STANAG 4296

Stanag 4296 is the reference standard for military eyewear only.
It guarantees the ballistic resistance defined by STANAG 2920, as well as other criteria:
- use: comfort, lightness, reduced fogging, scratch resistance
- quality of vision: minimum 160° field of vision, clarity,
- general appearance: less shiny protection possible, compatibility with other protection (helmet, face shield, etc.).
Protective equipment must be able to be stored for 10 years and used for at least 1 year.

STANAG standards are recognized in all NATO member countries.

The letter T, immediately after the mechanical resistance symbol, authorizes use for particles launched at high velocity at extreme temperatures.
