Airsoft Gas replicas were originally designed in Japan and started with a bulky external tank system. That was about 30 years ago, today's gas airsoft replicas have a tank built directly into the weapon, usually in the magazine, more convenient for games. The gas system is the most used system nowadays by airsoft players.

There are various advantages, thanks to the gas propulsion system, the immersion is improved. Indeed, the pressure causes a recoil effect of the breech on the GBB versions thus reinforcing the realism of the replica.

The quality/price ratio is also an advantage, with the improvements the replicas have become accessible to all.

This leads to two other advantages: thanks to the number of years of existence of the gas system, there are many more choices of replicas in this version as well as upgrade parts with better reliability.

However, there are still some disadvantages, gas airsoft replicas are more easily affected by bad weather conditions, a big cold causes outgassing and gas cylinders are quite bulky, they can not fit everywhere.

  • Réplique M1911 Gaz...

    Historical presentation

The M1911 (also known as the Automatic Colt Pistol [ACP] or Colt 45) is a single-action, semi-automatic pistol with short recoil loading. It was the pistol of the United States Armed Forces for 74 years, from 1911 to 1985. The civilian models and most of the models delivered to the U.S. forces were manufactured by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company in Hartford, Connecticut. The M1911 is one of the few weapons to have been used extensively in both World Wars.

Designed by John Moses Browning, the gun was adopted on March 28, 1911 by the US Ordnance Department and began production on December 28.

The Model M1911 was the ordinance weapon of the US Army during World War I. It was manufactured by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company, Remington-UMC, Springfield Armory and the North American Arms Company.

Particularly robust and reliable from its first version, it is modernized in 1926, becoming the M1911A1.

  • Réplique Beretta Gaz...

The Beretta is also a very common replica. Historically, the Italian manufacturer started manufacturing in 1976, based on a model that had been a big commercial success in the 1950s.

The weapon will then be adopted by several military forces in the world, in the USA, in Italy but also in France (in the form of PAMAS G1).  Many manufacturers offer it in Airsoft, such as Cybergun under license Taurus with the PT92 and PT99, KJ Works, WE or Tokyo Marui based on the Beretta model, and many others.

Very appreciated for its pleasant grip, the airsoft replica includes a magazine of 25 balls, very practical compared to the 1911 of 15 balls.

  • Réplique Glock Gaz...

The Glock is a series of semi-automatic pistols, manufactured in Austria by the Glock GmbH arms factory. Best known in movies/series, this handgun is still used by law enforcement agencies such as gendarmes.

The Austrian company Glock produces particularly innovative pistols of which the first model, released in 1980, was the Glock 17. It was one of the first commercially successful industrial pistols to incorporate polymers. Thanks to these materials, the weapon is lighter and less sensitive to corrosion. The flexibility of the materials also makes the recoil slightly less brutal than with the perfectly rigid frame of a weapon of equivalent weight. The Glock pistols were a small revolution, as the use of polymers has become the norm for all manufacturers.

These non-metallic materials have been the source of controversy in the United States over the guns produced by Glock. It was claimed that they were deliberately undetectable, primarily by an association fighting against civilian gun ownership. However, more than 80% of the parts making up the Glock are made of metal: (the breech, the barrel, the magazine spring, the firing pin, the ammunition...). Moreover, the polymers used are dense and therefore detectable by conventional X-ray systems, a properly trained security operator will spot the weapon without difficulty.

The legend still persists, notably because of the exploitation of this rumor by the film 58 Minutes to Live, in which Bruce Willis mentions a "German" Glock 7 made of undetectable ceramic. This weapon does not exist, although ceramic pistols were used by Warsaw Pact secret services (particularly in the Czech Republic) at the height of the Cold War.https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock_(pistol)

  • Réplique Hi Capa Gaz...

    Short history of Hi-Capa Airsoft

Tokyo Marui Co. Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of miniature cars and airsoft firearms of all kinds, including handguns, automatic rifles, revolvers, machine guns, etc. Among the airsoft replicas from Tokyo Marui Co. Ltd. include the Hi-Capa airsoft. Their products are mainly sold in Japan, but are also exported worldwide. The airsoft replicas of Tokyo Marui Co. Ltd. airsoft replicas have appeared in many movies and video games. Today, other airsoft replica manufacturers also produce variants of the Hi-Capa.

The Hi Capa is originally a version of the 1911 whose initial capacity of 15 rounds was upgraded to 25 rounds. Subsequently manufacturers such as WE, a brand known to airsofters whose replicas are made in Taiwan, have undergone some aesthetic changes. Then extended to shorter versions like the 3.8, sometimes called the Baby Capa, and longer like the 7.0 mounted with a compensator. Working with the manufacturer directly, Phenix Airsoft offers a selection of Hi Capa gas models. You will also find models recognized as Hi Capa such as the KP-05, KP-06 and KP-08 from KJ Works, another manufacturer from the island of Taiwan.

  • Réplique P226 Gaz Airsoft

The Sig-Sauer P226 is a pistol designed in Switzerland by Sig and produced in Germany by Sauer.

Developed in response to the U.S. Army's competition to replace the Colt M1911, it is a high-capacity version of the Sig-Sauer P220. Introduced in 1983, and chambered in 9mm Parabellum, it lost by a short head to the Beretta 92. Some U.S. and allied special units have adopted it, however, such as the Navy SEALs and JTF 2, which use a corrosion-resistant version with a SureFire W114D lamp as their standard sidearm. It has also had some success with various military and police organizations around the world, but its compact P228 version is more widely used.

    In 1998, the SIG-Sauer P226 was chambered in .357 SIG and .40 S&W.

Firing in double/single action or strict double action (DAK system), the P226 has an aluminum alloy or stainless steel frame.) Its stock plates are made of plastic or wood. Its sights are of the metal type (fixed or adjustable).

    Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft
The Sig Sauer P226 airsoft is a superb steel replica of the real Sig Sauer P226. You can disassemble this airsoft replica just like the real gun and all the mechanical parts work exactly the same, including the safety catch and the adjustable front sight. As for the design quality, it is generally good. You will be surprised by the finish of this replica which has a paint job that resists wear and tear very well. The Sig Sauer P226 airsoft gun is almost entirely made of metal. Only the handle and some parts are made of plastic.

In terms of use, the trigger of the Sig Sauer P226 replica is quite effective, both in single and double action. Thanks to a good balance of the weapon, your shots will be made with a great accuracy. In single action mode, the grip is quite short and the recoil quite light. In double action mode, although the recoil remains relatively light, the shots are longer.

  • Réplique Walther P99...

Short history of the Walther P99

The Walther P99 is a semi-automatic handgun developed by the German firearms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH SportWaffen in Ulm for law enforcement, security forces and the civilian firearms market as a replacement for the Walther P5 and P88.

Work on the design of this new generation handgun began in 1994 and the handgun was introduced in 1997 with serial production beginning the same year.

Features of the Walther P99 Airsoft

The Walther P99 airsoft gun is quite similar to the real steel Walther, except for the disarming device which is not present on the replica. The fairly substantial weight of the replica is nice and helps give this airsoft gun the feel of a real handgun. For a very affordable price, the Walther P99 airsoft replica has an excellent quality finish. Obviously, you find a plastic/polymer frame, but there is a lot of metal inside the airsoft replica, including all the internal parts, in the magazine, the trigger, etc.

This airsoft gun features a blowback action, which means that the slide is raised each time the gun is fired. This adds realism and real recoil when firing. If you're looking for a powerful, realistic airsoft handgun with good value for money, this is a great choice.

  • Réplique GTP9 Gaz Airsoft

GTP9 manufactured by G&G Armament is a GBB gas replica with end of magazine lock. Made of metal, it is heavy but handy, its reliability and its price make it a replica appreciated by all. Entirely made from resistant materials, it allows precise shooting and low gas consumption.

The handle provides a pleasant grip. Inside, an adjustable metal hop-up block and a polymer nozzle. The hop-up is easy to access, simply remove the tool located under the handle and insert it into the barrel from the front, turn and adjust. In addition, the GTP9 has an ambidextrous slide lock.

  • Réplique FNX45 / HK...

    Short history of the FNX-45

Having seen the light of day in 2012, the FNX-45 is the result of several years of innovative product development and advanced engineering techniques. Based on the FNP-45 model, the FNX-45 is a single and double action handgun with extremely improved ergonomics. It is an ambidextrous handgun that can easily be used with either hand in any shooting position.

But the story of the FNX-45 begins in 2005, when the U.S. Army issued a request for proposals to replace the Beretta M9. The goal was to find a .45 ACP pistol with day/night sights and a threaded barrel to accommodate suppressors. Many well-known manufacturers such as H&K, Smith and Wesson, SIG SAUER, Ruger and Glock submitted their bids. The manufacturer FNH was among the winners with the FNP45-USG model. This handgun is quite similar to FNX-45, with the difference that FNP45-USG was not ambidextrous. So the FNX-45 is an improved version of the FNP45-USG.

    Specificities of the FNX-45 Airsoft

The FNX-45 replicas are almost indistinguishable from the real gun. You will find all the basic markings on the barrel and on the handle. Moreover, it should be noted that most FNX-45 replicas are made from molds of the real FNX-45. Moreover, on the underside of the frame you will find a plate with a unique serial number for added realism. The rugged polymer construction of the FNX-45 replicas gives the impression that it is the real thing. As for the trigger, it's pretty soft, but you'll find that there's a clear recoil with every shot.

You'll also love the magazines on the FNX-45 airsoft replicas. In fact, the coating on each magazine has a chrome finish, just like most airsoft handguns. Finally, thanks to the polymer design of the FNX-45 airsoft replicas, you won't have to deal with the dramatic cooling problems of all-metal airsoft guns.

  • Réplique Revolver Gaz...

    This category includes airsoft revolvers

This type of replica is a little rarer on the ground, the principle is to reproduce a revolver, usually 6 shots.

Many replicas reproduce the principle of cylinder using fake cartridges in which will be inserted a 6mm airsoft ball. The best known being the Dan Wesson.

  • Réplique Mauser Gaz...

Short historical presentation of the Mauser M712

The Mauser M712 is a selective fire military handgun, generally known by the German name "Schnellfeuer". In the United States, this weapon was marketed under the name "Model 712, hence the current designation of M172. The M712 was curiously developed in 1933, at a time when submachine guns were very well established, but Mauser engineers decided to tinker with the mechanism of the brand's older model submachine gun, the C96, to design a mini-machine gun.

From 1933 to 1936, nearly 100,000 M712 automatic pistols were produced, generating a substantial profit for Mauser The M712 was almost entirely for export, but its use by the Germans was limited during World War II.

Specifics of the Mauser M712 Airsoft

Although there is a large amount of plastic on the outside of the Mauser M712 airsoft replicas, all the parts inside and the other components are all metal, which gives them a fairly substantial weight, approaching the real Mauser M172 all steel. Thus, the grip of the M712 airsoft replicas is immediate and pleasant. In addition, the plastic handle has a very well executed woodgrain effect, perhaps the best simulated wood you can find on an airsoft handgun.

With the M712 replicas you get what you'd expect from a true single action airsoft gun, thanks in part to a smooth and relatively light trigger release. Of course, in automatic mode, just hold the trigger down until the ammo runs out. The Mauser M712 replicas prove to be relatively accurate, at least after some adjustments, including sight adjustment.

What are the different variants available on Phenix Airsoft?

On Phenix Airsoft, you can choose between three variants of the Mauser M712 airsoft: one from the Galaxy brand, one from the KWC brand and another from the HFC brand. The KWC Mauser M712/C96 airsoft gun features an all-metal design, 296mm length, 900g weight, 1.8 joules of power, 435 FPS velocity and a magazine capacity of 22 rounds. The airsoft HFC Mauser M712/C96, meanwhile, has the same dimensions as the KWC variant. On the other hand, this replica has a magazine with a capacity of 29 balls, weighs 1200 g and is much less powerful than the KWC model. Indeed, its power is 1.3 joules for a velocity of about 380 FPS. Finally, the Galaxy Mauser M712 variant offers only a 10 ball magazine, with a fixed breech and Hop Up, and a metal/ABS design. Note also that this Galaxy-made replica deploys only 0.2 joules of power, for a velocity of 200 FPS.

  • Réplique Luger Gaz...

Short history of the Luger P08

The Luger P08 is a fixed barrel pistol operated by a short recoil that uses a unique locking mechanism. In creating the P08 for DWM (Deutsche-Waffen und Munitionsfabriken), Georg Luger was inspired by the Maxim machine gun and the Hugo Borchardt pistol.  Geaorg Luger has designed one of the most iconic pistols in the world. It was one of the first semi-automatic magazine-fed handguns to be mass-produced. It was also the first pistol that used the 9mm cartridge.

Specificities of the Luger P08 Airsoft

The Luger P08 replica being entirely made of metal, it must be admitted that it is well built. It is almost half as heavy as the real Luger P08 and is made of real steel (480 g against 871 g for the real P08). The only plastic element on the replica Luger P08 is the handle and the gas tube. On the form, the Luger P08 airsoft is a faithful replica of the original Luger P08, with the same moving parts as the real steel version. Replicas of the Luger P08, regardless of the manufacturer, fail to replicate the blue finish of the real version. On the other hand, you have a wide choice of colors when it comes to Luger P08 airsoft replicas.

As far as velocity is concerned, the Luger P08 airsoft runs between 340 FPS and 360 FPS. The variation will depend on the CO² cartridge used and the ambient temperature; the best results are obtained between 10 °C and 50 °C. Finally, as for the single action trigger, it has a very short grip with a very smooth release.

What are the different variants available on Phenix Airsoft?

On Phenix airsoft, there are five variants available of the Luger P08 airsoft. The first four variants are from the Galaxy brand. They all have the same characteristics; namely a 6 mm caliber, a power of 0.5 joule, a length of 204 mm, a weight of 480 g, a metal/ABS design and a magazine with a capacity of 10 balls. Finally, all Galaxy variants of the P08 airsoft are spring loaded guns that have a Hop up and a fixed breech. The difference will therefore be in the color of the weapon. Thus, we have Galaxy P08 black, desert, OD and silver.

The last variant is the KWC Luger P08. It is without doubt the replica that is closest to the original. Already, in terms of weight, the KWC Luger P08 airsoft weighs 834g, while the real Luger P08 weighs 871g. Moreover, it is made of full metal. This replica has a 6 mm caliber with a magazine that holds 15 balls. Moreover, it is much longer than other airsoft replicas (220 m for the KWC against 204 mm for the Galaxy), runs on CO2 and has a power of 1.6 joules.

The different mechanisms offered on Phenix Airsoft

As for the mechanisms of the Luger P08 airsoft replicas offered on Phenix Airsoft, there are only two, namely a spring mechanism and a mechanism that operates on CO2. All Galaxy variants run on a spring system, while the KWC variant runs on CO2.

  • Réplique CZ Gaz Airsoft

    Short history of the CZ-75

The CZ-75 is one of the most successful handguns in modern history, but it wasn't easy for this gun to get to the top. CZ has been one of the leading firearms manufacturers in Europe for nearly 100 years. The Czech gun manufacturer was founded after World War II, but did not achieve international success until the fall of the Soviet Union. In fact, this CZ-75 was not available outside of Europe for several years of production.

Surprisingly, the CZ-75 is one of the most widely used and reliable semi-automatic pistols in the world.

    Features of the CZ-75 Airsoft

Virtually all CZ-75 airsoft replicas have impressive build quality. The fit and finish is among the best in the airsoft handgun category. You'll notice, for example, that even after several shots, the painted metal friction areas will show very little wear, which is not always the case with this kind of replica. In fact, the quality of finish and workmanship is guaranteed by the very tight tolerances between the moving parts. Thus, it can be said that at least in terms of design, the CZ-75 replicas are superb and functional copies of the real steel CZ-75. Even all the safety features work in the same way.

When it comes to shooting accuracy, the trigger on CZ-75 replicas is surprisingly light in single action, but incredibly sticky at first in double action. That said, you won't be shooting double action very often. Regardless, it will take a little time for some people to get used to the very light trigger pull.

What are the different variants available on Phenix Airsoft?

Phenixairsoft offers eight airsoft variants of the CZ-75. The first seven are manufactured by the ASG brand and the eighth is by KJ Works.

Not all ASG CZ-75 airsoft replicas have the same features. The point of difference is the length of the weapon. For example, if the ASG CZ-75 SP-01 model is 207 mm long, the ASG CZ-75D P09 is 204 mm long. There are also more compact models, such as the ASG 15698 and ASG 15564, which are 185 mm long. The CZ-75 airsoft replicas produced by ASG also differ in terms of magazine capacity. There are replicas with 13, 14, 15 and 25 ball magazines. Furthermore, it should be noted that all ASG replicas are black, but there are models made only of ABS like the ASG CZ-75 SP-01, metal/ABS models like the ASG CZ-57 P07 DUTY and a metal and nylon fiber model, the ASG CZ-75 P09 Blowback.

The KJ Works CZ-75 variant, on the other hand, features a 24 round magazine, a movable breech, an adjustable hop up and a finish made of aluminum, metal and polymer.

The different mechanisms that are offered on Phenix Airsoft

If you choose the KJ Works airsfot replica, you only have one option when it comes to operating mechanism, the one that runs on CO2. At ASG, the choice is much wider, with replicas that work with a spring mechanism like the ASG CZ-75 SP-01 and ASG CZ-75D Compact, airsoft replicas that work with CO2 like the CZ75-D P07 Duty Blowback and airsoft replicas that work with gas like the CZ75 P09 Blowback.

  • Réplique Desert Eagle...

Short History of the Desert Eagle 50

Rarely is a firearm so unusual and powerful that it manages to transcend the firearms industry to become recognized worldwide by shooters and non-shooters alike. Thanks to shows like Miami Vice and movies like The Punisher, the Desert Eagle 50 semi-automatic handgun has become a star.

Developed by Magnum Research starting in 1979 and finally put into production in 1985 by Israel Military Industrial Ltd (now IMI), the Desert Eagle is a unique semi-automatic gas pistol.

Specificities of the Desert Eagle 50 Airsoft

The Desert Eagle airsoft is one of those replicas that give a strong impression of metal. The only plastic present on the weapon is the clip, but it is also a solid ABS plastic part. Generally, Desert Eagle airsoft replicas are quite heavy, as they are almost entirely made of metal. But that doesn't stop them from being easy to hold and incredibly accurate. In addition, they are known to be relatively quiet.

While the rear sight is fixed, the front sight has an adjustment to give you the most accurate view of your target. The barrel has a powerful recoil and blowback system. To optimize the performance and durability of the gun and magazines, it is recommended that the magazines be allowed to return to normal temperature before being reused.

What are the different variants available on Phenix Airsoft?

At Phenix Airsoft, seven variants of the Desert Eagle 50 airsoft are available in stock, including two Cyma variants, two KWC variants and three Cybergun/Swiss Arms variants.

    The Cyma variants

Cyma offers two variants of the Desert Eagle 50 with the same technical characteristics, namely a 6 mm caliber, a weight of 900 g, a metal/ABS finish, a magazine with a capacity of 30 balls, a fixed breech, but with an adjustable Hop up, a power of 0.4 joule for a velocity of 220 FPS. Thus, the only difference between the model CM121 and the model CM121T is the color. Indeed, the first one is in black and the second one in desert color.

    The KWC variants

Like the Cyma variants, the two replicas manufactured by KWC are almost the same. The only visible difference is the color. Thus, we have a Full Metal Black replica and a Full Metal Chrome replica. As for the technical characteristics, we find the same length of 270 mm, a weight of 1100 g, a power of 1.6 joule and a velocity of 410 FPS. Then, although the breech is mobile, the Hop Up remains fixed. Finally, the KWC replicas of the Desert Eagle 50 are equipped with a 22-round magazine.

    Cybergun/Swiss Arms variants

On Phenixairsoft, there are three Cybergun/Swiss Arms replicas of the Desert Eagle 50. Two of them are Desert Eagle 50.AE Blowback, one with a metallic tint and the other black. Apart from the color, they have the same characteristics, namely a length of 270 mm, a weight of 1100 g approximately, a mobile breech, an adjustable Hop Up, a magazine with 20 balls, but also a power of 1.2 joule for a velocity of about 360 FPS. The third Cybergun/Swiss Arms variant, the Baby Desert Eagle 50, is a shorter (204 mm), lighter (755 g) and slightly less powerful (1.1 joule) replica. And even its breech is fixed, the Hop Up remains adjustable.

The different mechanisms that are offered on Phenix Airsoft

Two mechanisms are proposed for replicas of the Desert Eagle 50 available on Phenix airsoft. The two models from the manufacturer Cyma are electric airsoft replicas and all the others run on CO2.
